Know-how is an essential asset of makon. Therefore, we invest a lot of resources in up-to-date research topics as well as the exchange of scientific knowledge.

Current activities include the project “OASE” in cooperation with the Munich University of Applied Sciences which is supported by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie (Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology) as a part of the program „Energy Optimised Construction“ as well as the research project „Efficient Organisation Structures of the Value-Added Chain in Construction“ in cooperation with the irebs Institute for Real Estate Business as part of the research program “Zukunft Bau“ of the federal authority BBR.
In addition, makon constantly analyses the market of full-scale building management service providers as well as the CAFM software. The results are published annually in the magazine „The Facility Manager“.
