02/10: Certificate for CAFM-Software - GEFMA 444 is documenting certified minimum standards

As the market review published by makon, DFM and GEFMA every year shows, the large number of CAFM products on the German-speaking market makes it exceedingly difficult for interested parties to select the "right" Software. With the new standard 444, the GEFMA task group CAFM has developed a certification system that helps to verify and document the compliance with the minimum criteria as part of the campaign for quality conducted by the association.

The system includes 9 criteria lists (basics, area-, maintenance/repair-, inventory-, cleaning-, reservations-, locking system-, relocation- und leasing-management). The first applications for certification have already been received.

Members of the team of authors of GEFMA 444 include: Prof. Dr. Joachim Hohmann – team leader (Technical University Kaiserslautern), Rita Görze (Korasoft, Neu-Isenburg), Marco Jedlitzke (Conject, Duisburg), Lars Leupold (Dussmann, Berlin), Michael Marchionini (ReCoTech, Berlin), Marko Opić (makon, Nuremberg) und Maik Schlundt (Berliner Stadtreinigungsbetriebe).
