makon was founded in 1996 under the legal form of a GmbH and is currently organized as GmbH & Co. KG. The majority shareholder is the holding company EB-Group, further shares are held by the management.

makon has offices in Munich, Stuttgart and Nuremberg and can, through its network of EB-Group branch offices, access local resources in Hamburg, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Fürth, Gera and Neumarkt as well als in Washington D.C. and Moskau.

The core team of makon within the Ebert-Group consists of 24 employees, of which 2 employees are working „back office“. In total, the EB-Group has about 380 employees.
