Research Project "Zukunft Bau"

The Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Bau und Stadtentwicklung (German Federal Ministry of Transport, Construction and City development) has initiated the research program „Zukunft Bau“ („Future in Construction“), to strengthen the competitiveness of the German building industry in the European domestic market and to eliminate deficits particularly in the area of technical and organisational innovation.

The research scheme addresses the subjects „value creation chain in construction“, „quality in construction“, „general technical and legal terms and conditions of the construction industry“ as well as „new markets, techniques and methods“.

makon participates in the program with the research project „Efficient organisational structures of the value creation chain in real estate construction“, in cooperation with the “irebs Institute for Real Estate Business” of the University of Regensburg.

Subject is the analysis and optimisation of organisational structures in the real estate industry. Special consideration is put towards cooperative arrangements in the course of public private partnerships (PPP).
