Prof. Dr. Achim Johannis
 Studied Civil Engineering at the University of Aachen (RWTH Aachen), following this Research Associate at the chair of Solid Building Structure at the Technical University of Munich (TU München), Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, further university degrees in Business Administration and Ecomomics (Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing.) at the TU München as well as Real Estate Economics at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel.
After starting his carrer as consulting engineer, entering Arthur Andersen as a Real Estate Consultant in 1998 and establishing the Munich consulting team since 2000.
Since 2004 Director Real Estate of Ernst & Young, responsible for numerous consulting projects in the areas of Valuation, Development Consulting, Reorganisation as well as Transaction Advisory.
Since 2007 manging director at makon, responsible for consulting projects in the areas of Valuation, Operations Management, Public Private Partnership and Project Development. Also responsible for Information and Communication Systems and Knowledge Management.
Research and teaching engagement, since 2009 Professor for Real Estate Economics at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol / Research Coordinator at the Institute for Corporate Real Estate Management (IBI).
