Revitalisation "Postquartier Stuttgart"

The HEVAF LS 17 S. à r. l. based in Luxembourg has, represented by Hines Immobilien GmbH, authorized the revitalisation of the Postquartier building complex in Stuttgart. The property is centrally located in the city centre of Stuttgart between Kronen-/Lautenschlager- and Thouretstraße. The mixed occupancy consisting of offices, retail and catering facilities is designed to emphasize the urban character of the building. An addition to the office space of ca. 15.800 m² and the upscale retail areas with ca. 9.600 m², the building has a 3-level underground parking garage. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2009. Provisions are made to certify the building on a voluntary basis according to the American LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System TM.

makon assists the project developer Hines in all issues concerning facility management, applied physics and sustainability. The designs are examined for FM-relevant aspects, the documentation management is supervised, building management concepts are created, operational costs calculated and a bidding process for FM services is also performed. Additionally, the entire process of the LEED certification is accompanied and a risk analysis in regards to a DGNB (Deutsches Gütesiegel Nachhaltiges Bauen) certification is performed. The consulting services are completed by consultations about applied physics and acoustics, planning of catering facilities and the preparation of a waste management concept.
