Portfolio Due Diligence "VELVET"

In the course of the numerous real estate portfolio transactions in current years, makon has analysed about 1,000,000 m² of commercial properties and 100,000 residential units as part of Due Diligence assignments.

Exemplarily we highlight an extensive buy-side Due Diligence of a real estate portfolio with approx. 5,300 residential units for a listed German real estate company (project code „VELVET“).

The Due Diligence services included a detailed technical inspection of each property including the appraisal of the quantity and the quality of short- and mid-term maintenance measures required within a timeframe of 10 years. Furthermore makon environmental specialist inspected the buildings for toxins as well as for any inherited waste pollution.

Thanks to our wide-spread office and employee network, in addition to a tight project management, this ambitious Due Diligence analysis was successfully completed in 4 weeks.
