Information system for rules and regulations (REG-IS "Regelwerks-Informationssystem")

REG-IS is an information system that has been developed by Rödl & Partner with the support of makon to manage the rules and regulations that are relevant for the facility management in Germany.

The range of requirements on the part of EU, country, states and municipalities, accident insurance companies and technical regulatory institutions placed on the operators of complex real estate facilities is huge and even for professionals difficult to manage. REG-IS offers a tool to be able to quickly and easily obtain an up-to-date and target-oriented overview over these requirements.

REG-IS distinguishes itself through the following features:

• Web application, i.e. internet access required but no local installation
• Company-wide license, usable independent from location
• 35 regulation categories can be licensed
• Searching is possible through several paths, additional search engine
• For each regulation: bibliographic description, verification of changes, table of contents, if applicable selected text passages, obligations, if applicable with details concerning maintenance or inspection, possible penalties (fines), allocation to facilities and services, documents, terms, hierarchical classification, analogies
• External links leading to the full text passages in html or pdf (but not in case of regulatory institutions under private law such as DIN, DVGW, VDE, VDI, VDMA, VdS and others)
• Constant applicability through continuous updating
• And much more.
