Public Real Estate Redevelopment

Makon advised a county administration in Rheinland-Pfalz in the course of a long-term optimisation strategy of the public real estate management.

In the past, the public administration units were located in various, sometimes rented buildings. With a property asset analysis, different scenarios for the efficient joining of the administration units were developed and analysed. In doing so, particular aspects of financial aid terms and conditions had to be taken into consideration as well as synergies with existing property assets of the administrative district.

In this context a redevelopment concept of a 10-storey building, currently used as a nursing home and built on public land under the inherited building right had to be planed, analysed and evaluated.

In this challenging project, makon’s specific combination of valuation methodology and technical real estate know-how was especially beneficial to the client.
